Last Friday marked the 6th Annual Hartwell Lake Ladies Jet Ski Crawl, and what an incredible day it was! Proudly sponsored by Smart Marketing Advertising Agency and First Bank, this year’s event was a resounding success, raising over $40,000 for the Cancer Association of Anderson. The event was filled with fun, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to making a positive impact in our community.
The event kicked off at noon at Party Island, where participants gathered with their jet skis, ready for the ride ahead. The journey across Hartwell Lake to The Grill at Clemson Marina was a highlight, offering everyone a chance to take in the beautiful scenery and enjoy the ride. Upon arrival, First Bank provided lunch for all registered riders and business sponsors, making sure everyone was well-fed and ready for the afternoon. The Grill at Clemson Marina also donated 10% of lunch proceeds to the Cancer Association of Anderson, further contributing to the cause.
After lunch, we returned to Party Island for a relaxed afternoon. It was a great opportunity to unwind, share stories, and enjoy the lake’s surroundings. The sense of community was evident, with everyone appreciating the chance to connect and contribute to something meaningful.
The day wrapped up with dinner at El Arriero at the Shores, where we enjoyed live music and good company. El Arriero added to the fundraising efforts by donating 10% of its proceeds to the Cancer Association of Anderson, rounding off a successful day of giving back.
